The Vodafone Fijian national football squad marches into camp tomorrow at Ba Football Academy for their match against Malaysia on Sunday 3pm at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park.

After  the last round of Vodafone Fijian FACT in Labasa yesterday, Fiji Football Association has named a strong 23-member.

“We are requesting all teams to release their players for this international friendly,” Fiji FA vice-president Tarunesh Reddy said.

“We are preparing a formidable team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Oceania Football Confederation qualifying playoffs in November.

“We will play a total of 10 matches on a home and away basis in order to qualify for the world cup and this match against Malaysia will be a good build up for us.”

Reddy said players would be released after the Malaysia match to play for their respective teams in the Vodafone Fijian FACT semifinals.

Meanwhile, seven Ba players are included in the 23-member squad.

Former Vanuatu based Amicale FC player Samuela Kautoga is the new inclusion in the Fijian side along with Wellington Phoenix striker Roy Krishna. Edited by Osea Bola
