Naitasiri aims to play a more disciplined game against Northland in Round Seven of the Skipper Cup competition at Sila Secondary School on Saturday.

“We copped yellow and red cards in the last six rounds and we can’t afford that against Northland,” coach Reverend Joji Rinakama said.

“It will be tough so we need to get the players’ mindset right for the match.

“We did not camp in the past two weeks because of financial difficulties but we train every day and we expect a favourable outcome.”

Team manager Maciu Koroi said they would finalise the 23 players after assessing performance during training today.

“There could be changes to our line-up from our last game against Malolo,” Koroi said.

“I’m looking at the players’ punctuality, discipline and on-off field performance.

“We’re looking forward to play another entertaining 80 minutes of rugby.

“We trust ourselves and we will give Naitasiri a good game,” Koroi said

Naitasiri is third in the Skipper Cup standings on 23 points while Northland is sixth on 18 points.
