Jarryd Hayne has no regrets after making his decision to join the Vodafone Fijians 7s squad preparing for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

“I’m happy, I’m satisfied and I mean it,”Hayne said.

“I have made my decision, it’s been great coming back and  things been awesome, no regrets.”

The former San Francisco 49ers running top priority need list now is to improve his fitness level. Following the London 7s the Cikobia, Macuata native continues his Olympic preparation during the two weeks break.

Hayne believes he could pick up on other technical part of the game.

“My main challenge now is just fitness everything else I can do. The ability to do defence and attack obviously learns finer details on those sought of stuff but fitness is the biggest thing in my list at the moment,” he said.

He looks forward to future tough training sessions after the second week of training.

“This second week of training has definitely gone up the level,” he added.

Hayne has brushed aside all critics and focuses on the positives.

If there was one person in Fiji Hayne wishes to put smile on when he wears the national jumper in Rio, it would be his late grandmother Elenoa Tokalautawa.

“I know she’s looking down from heaven,” Hayne proudly said.
