Suva is wary of the challenge Tailevu and Cakaudrove will provide in the 2016 Kaji Rugby competition in August.

Suva Kaji president Michael Koroi believes the two teams will be competitive after reaching the final in last year’s competition.

Tailevu played in Under-9, U10, U11 and U12 in the finals but only won U10 from Suva while Cakaudrove featured in the U13 and U14 but lost to Suva after providing a tough competition.

“Every year we always try to field strong teams,” Koroi said.

“But this year we are wary of Tailevu and Cakaudrove as they know how it feels to play in the finals and they will be competitive.

The Suva Kaji Rugby officials were not impressed with performance of players following the last pool round of competition yesterday.

“Players making a lot of silly mistakes,” Koroi said.

“Hopefully, we will address it in time.”
