Planned Thanksgiving Service Postponed
The SODELPA thanksgiving church service which was scheduled for yesterday has been postponed to a later date.
The thanksgiving church service was to have followed their annual general meeting which was held at the Fijian Teachers Association hall in Suva on Saturday.
SODELPA interim general secretary Adi Litia Qionibaravi said the church service was cancelled because the proposed venue, Nawanawa Methodist Church in Nadera, was using it for their monthly meeting.
Adi Litia said they would need to consult all members before another date was confirmed.
“We had sent a notice to all the party members including a radio announcement informing them of the church service cancellation,” she said.
Adi Litia said all SODELPA members would be invited to the thanksgiving church service which is expected to be held this week.
