Labasa Eye Back-To-Back Win
Defending champions Labasa is confident of winning the Vodafone Fijian FACT title at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Sunday.
The Advanced Parts and Spares Limited sponsored team plays Jack’s Nadi in the first semifinal at 3pm on Saturday while Kasabias Ingco Rewa host Suva in the second semifinal at 5pm.
“We want to win this title back-to- back and we are confident,”Labasa Football president Riyaz Khan said.
“Nadi is a good side and we will field a strong team.
“Our players’ are focused for the task and I’ve faith in them,”Khan said.
He also denied media reports that senior players have been suspended.
“None of the players are suspended as all players are available for selection and we will field the best team,”Khan said,
“Senior players like Akuila Mateisuva, Taniela Waqa, Christopher Wasasala, Edwin Shayam and Krishneel Krishna are all training with the team.”
