A man charged with uttering forged documents and giving false information to a public servant, appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.

Magistrate Waleen George granted bail to the accused, Ekbal Hussein, in the sum of $1000 with bail conditions that he is not to offend, he is not to interfere with the prosecution witnesses, not to change his residential address in Labasa and is to report to the Labasa Police Station on the last Saturday of every month from 6am to 6pm.

It is alleged that Hussein on November 11, 2006 at Suva knowingly and fraudulently uttered a forged document, namely a certificate of Diploma in Islamiyat from the MadresaNur– Ul- Islam Institute, with the Fiji Public Service Application Form to the Ministry of Education.
