Litiana Loabuka acknowledged all stakeholders who contributed in the successful hosting of the Super Rugby match between the Chiefs and Crusaders last week in Suva.

“We want to thank our Fijian Government for allowing the game to be hosted here at the ANZ Stadium,”the Fiji Sports Council chief executive said.

“Without the support of our Fijian Government and their faith in us, we would not have been able to bring that event to us to begin with.

“All the Fijians that turned out that night was phenomenal.

“Leading up to the game we were requesting match activation, we were requesting that the crowd participate and get engaged because the crowd engagement would actually affect the feedback as well.

“We wanted SANZAR to know that Fiji was able to deliver and we did. The crowd on that night was fantastic.

She added the atmosphere at the ANZ Stadium on the night was something that was well talked about by the sports community overseas.

Loabuka said all would have not been made possible without the support of the sponsors, volunteers, suppliers and everyone.
