SKY Pacific Subscriptions To Increase

SKY PACIFIC customers will now need to fork out a few extra dollars for the subscription for the pay television services.

Digicel Fiji, owners of SKY Pacific, will increase monthly subscription for all residential customers from August 15 to $49.95 from the current $46.45.

It has advised customers to note that Sky Pacific is a Prepaid service and this revised subscription will be prorated and reflected on invoices from July 15 onwards.

The increment follows improvement introduced in terms of picture quality and the introduction of nine new channels.

“The introduction of Discovery Channel, Boomerang, Paramount, Fight Sports and B4U Movies has improved the quality of our content and taken it to a new level,” it said.

“We are committed to investing in improved content and ensuring that Sky Pacific offers the best value entertainment for customers.

“We realise that customers never welcome price increases but this is now unavoidable as Sky Pacific now relies exclusively on subscription and is not permitted to sell advertising in Fiji as a condition of our license.”
