Tertiary Board Names Maharaj New CEO

Highly qualified ex -Fiji Commerce Commission CEO takes over
Tertiary Scholarship and Loans board chairman Dixon Seeto yesterday officially announced the appointment of Bobby Jitendra Maharaj as its new chief executive officer.
Mr Maharaj was the former CEO of the Fiji Commerce Commission for six years before joining TSLB.
Mr Maharaj is a highly qualified and experienced professional. He holds a master’s degree in Economics and an undergraduate Degree in Accounting and Financial Management and Economics.
In addition to his qualifications in Commerce, Mr Maharaj also has a law degree from the University of the South Pacific.
In making the official announcement yesterday Mr Seeto said that “we are delighted to welcome Mr Maharaj to head TSLB”.
He said Mr Maharaj was a very experienced executive with proven success in his past roles. Mr Seeto said that the Board was confident that his style and approach would fit extremely well with TSLB’s objectives and values.
Mr Seeto said the new CEO would be responsible for driving the TSLB to the next level, building on the solid foundation and momentum achieved by the institution since its establishment three years ago.
