Telecom Fiji Limited yesterday launched their contestant for next month’s Hibiscus Festival during their Dividend Cheque Presentation and Internet Café Launch at Contain Yourself Café in Suva.

Speaking at the event, chief executive officer of TFL, Mothilal De Silva,  said TFL would continue supporting such events by sponsoring the participants and in many other ways.

“I am also more than delighted that we will be officially launching our beautiful Queen contestant – Miss Veti Vukalokalo to this year’s Hibiscus Festival,” Mr De Silva said.

“TFL will continue to support this year’s event as the company believes that any event as such will be an ideal opportunity to rekindle our relationship with the community.”

Ms Vukalokalao is from Naweni Village, Savusavu.

She will be highlighting the importance of racial diversity at the Hibiscus Platform.

“I would love to talk about our racial diversity and it is a resource that we can use,” Ms Vukalokalo said.
