The Nasinu Rugby Football Union (NRFU) matches today are going to be played at the Force Training Group grounds in Nasinu.

This was confirmed yesterday by NRFU president Paula Biu who said the shift is because of the inter-college competition held at Fiji National University grounds in Nasinu.

“We are so grateful to the FTG and Republic of Fiji Military Forces for their support in allowing us to use their ground for our weekly competition,” the former Flying Fijian prop said.

Competition goes into the 11th round today with a slight point difference between top sides Tacirua (34 points), Matuku (32), Uluinakau (31) and Newtown (29).

“The competition is getting tougher as teams are vying for the top 12 positions. The top 12 teams will play in the new 2017 Senior A and the bottom 8 will play in the new Senior B competition.”

The feature clashes today at 3pm sees table leaders Tacirua face Colo-i-suva at the AOG grounds and third placed Uluinakau tackle Narere neighbours Bulavou Warriors at 3pm at the FTG.

“We also thank the AOG High School management and FNU Campus for the use of their facilities, St John Ambulance, Suva Referees Association, Vodafone and Telecom for the tents and goal post pads corner flags.
