Staff members and management of HFC farewelled their outgoing chief executive officer, Isikeli Tikoduadua, last night at the HFC building in Victoria Parade, Suva.

Mr Tikoduadua retires after 40 years in the banking industry.

New Zealand-born Ross Munn was appointed as the new chief executive officer five weeks ago.

An emotional Mr Tikoduadua in his farewell speech said it was hard for him to come to terms with this change.

He told the staff members and management that he wanted to see HFC in the number one position in years to come.

HFC first opened its doors in 1952 as a home finance company.

Mr Tikoduadua was responsible for the conversion of HFC from a credit institution to a commercial bank in 2014.
