Only two entry fees will be charged at the Vodafone Hibiscus festival this year.
For the main stage, audience will pay $3. For the judging tent inside the Vodafone arena – $5 will be charged.
This was confirmed by Hibiscus Events Group executive chairman, Hirdesh Prasad.
Mr Prasad said those wishing to visit tents in the parking lot, no charge will be levied.
So far, 25 flea market stalls have been sold. They are expecting 70 food stalls.
To date, 11 queens and nine kings contestants have been confirmed by their sponsors.
“There will be tight security at the festival this year and we are asking members of the public for their support,” he said.
