A man charged with one count each of acts with intent to cause grievous harm and theft has been further remanded in custody by the Suva High Court .

31-year-old Jiuta Moroca yesterday appeared before Justice Salesi Temo for allegedly punching shop owner Lin Li Sheng continuously using his fist until she was completely unconscious and allegedly ran away with $2000 in cash on May 9.

The prosecution has sought time from the court as the victim has yet to fully recover from her injuries and also awaiting her medical report.

The court has been adjourned to September 2.
