Communication Key To Peace At Home

It is good that families are being proactive in informing Police when their loved ones are overdue returning home.

The Police then solicit the help of the media which informs the public.

A girl reported missing last week has returned safely to her home.

She  was staying with relatives. While we are happy she is safe, it was totally irresponsible of her not to have contacted her family that she was not coming home that night.

She caused anxiety among her relatives when they did not hear from her. That’s the lesson learned from this latest incident and should be reinforced in family counsel.

In this modern digital age there should be little problem about keeping in touch.

It will save time, money and unnecessary emotional stress.

Bad news, Samoa, this went global

Across the waters in Samoa they like to portray their country as peaceful – and compete with Fiji as a holiday destination.

But right now Samoan tourism is reeling.

An Australian couple have gone public with the horror from their Samoan holiday.

The Australian couple were on the last night of their holiday when a serial prison escapee and rapist got into where they were staying at a resort.

He tied up the husband and wife then raped the woman while her helpless husband watched.

They told how the thug had a long record of crime and escaping from the Samoan prison system. Even since being caught and returned to prison after this crime he has escaped again.

Australian and international media outlets have highlighted this horrific story. The damage is growing.
