Nadi’s Prince Charles Park came alive during the pre-Bula Festival concert on Friday night.

Artists like Mickey Niurua, VLY, KKU, Leba Boi Yawa E Lomai Nasau, Via ni Tebara, LESSA, Rubber band, Police Jazz Band, and Voqa ni Delai Dokidoki took to the stage.

Air Terminal Services chief executive officer Hare Mani, chief guest at the event, said: “ATS is honoured and proud to contribute towards this special night and hope it will be a successful event.”

The theme for this year event is “Unity and Diversity.”

Mr Mani said one of the important aspects for our society was our children and their education.

“After the devastation caused by Tropical Cylone Winston many of our schools in Fiji were badly damaged,” he said.

He said to assist in their recuperation the proceeds from last nights concert would go towards the Foundation for the Education of Needy Children (FENC Fiji) to assist schools affected in the Western Division.

Bula Festival president Leone Naivalu said the committee was happy with the event.
