The 11 contestants in the Miss Digicel Bula Queen competition in Nadi this week were hosted to lunch at the Tanoa International Hotel in Votualevu, Nadi, yesterday.

Hotel manager Rajesh Lal said he was happy to be hosting them for a fifth year in a row.

“I’d like to congratulate all of you for being selected to take part in this event and I wish you all the best,” he said.

“At the end of the day everyone is a winner despite what the outcome of this competition may be.

“This is my fifth year here but our sponsoring has been going on for a long time now. We always think of giving back to the community hence our involvement in a lot of community work.

“This is just one of the few projects we partake in and we are happy to continue our support for the Bula Pageant.”

The contestants are busy going on tours throughout Nadi and advocating their causes to people in order to garner votes. The Digicel Bula Queen will be decided at 8.15pm on Saturday.
