Fiji Television To Pay Out $3.09m Special Dividend
Fiji Television Limited board of directors have declared a second special dividend to be paid out to its shareholders post the sale of Media Niugini Limited and SKY Pacific in its financial year 2016.
The special dividend declared by Fiji TV is $0.30 per share and this will result in total payout of $3.09 million to the shareholders.
Fiji TV had earlier declared a special dividend of $3.708 million to the shareholders in April 2016 for the Financial Year 2016.
This followed the successful completion of Media Niugini and SKY Pacific transaction on January 29 and April 1, respectively.
In accordance with SPSE listing rule on dividend declaration and payment, Fiji TV shareholders registry will close on August 11 and dividend will be paid on August 19..
