Suva Clubs Battle To Survive

The RC Manubhai-sponsored Suva Rugby Union Escott Shield Premier Grade competition is heading for a tight finish as teams battle to qualify for the quarterfinals.

After the completion of Round 12 games last week, Army, QVS, Fire, Police, Navy, Raiwaqa, Covenant Blue and Marist are in good positions to secure quarterfinals berth.

The final standings could change after the last round of games as Lomaiviti and formidable Savura have good chances of qualifying if they win their respective matches.

Struggling Nabua have a good chance to remain in the top flight competition should games go their way in the final round.

In the CBS Power Solutions Koroturaga Grade Warden are the team to beat. All Suva supporters are reminded to come out in numbers on Friday to support the Skipper Cup semifinal against Namosi at the ANZ Stadium starting at 7.30pm.

Merchandise will be on sale from all Tau Sports Outlets from Wednesday.
