Parmesh Chand Joins BRED Bank Fiji Board Of Directors

BRED Bank (Fiji) Limited has appointed former Permanent Secretary for Public Service Commission, Parmesh Chand, as a board director.

Mr Chand, currently an academic at the University of the South Pacific, brings in a breadth of experience to BRED Bank Fiji.

He has also previously worked as the Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office & Sugar Industry.

He also served as the chief executive of Ministry of Public Enterprises and Public Sector Reforms.

Mr Chand was also the chairman for Fiji National Provident Fund, Fiji Investment Corporation Limited, Central Agencies Committee.

Mr Chand has also worked in the banking industry at the National Bank of Fiji in various roles and at the Commonwealth Bank in Australia.
