Settling In

Team Fiji men’s rugby sevens team had a light training session in Santiago, Chile, yesterday. The Osea Kolinisau captained-side looked relaxed after a long 14-hour flight from Auckland to Santiago and had a light gym walk before they leisurely played a game of soccer.
The team will spend eight days in Chile and head coach Ben Ryan says this is where they will work on their tactics.
“This also a good way for the team to bond as they are in a foreign country and there a less distraction,” he said.
“No one to ask around and no one knows you while in Chile, so they get along with their business, work hard and bond well as a team before we fly the night before the opening ceremony.”
