Hino Aims For Consecutive Win At Dakar Rally

Hino trucks are no doubt built tough to endure the harshest conditions.

And now the Japanese truck maker is going into the Dakar Rally 2017 full force aiming for its 8th consecutive win since its participation.

Hino has already won the champion seven times now through its ability to survive and endurance.

Dakar Rally organisers have already finalised the host countries for the 2017 event.

Paraguay is joining the ranks of host countries for the first time since the rally was relocated to South America in 2009. Together with Argentina and Bolivia, the event will be hosted by three.

HINO TEAM SUGAWARA has kicked off its preparation efforts as it aims for its 26th straight finish in the race.

The team will be upgrading its trucks’ performance and beefing up its summer training for the upcoming 2017 rally.

The team has been joined by its mechanics, who were screened and selected from among applicants from Hino dealerships nationwide.

Hino trucks in Fiji are sold by Niranjas who are proud to be associated with the product.

The Dakar Rally (formerly known as the “Paris–Dakar Rally”) is an annual rally raid organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation.

The race is scheduled start off on January 2, 2017 from Asunción, the capital of Paraguay, and take contestants south toward the Argentinian border.
