Marist Brothers High School proved too good for Lelean Memorial School in the Under-18 quarterfinal yesterday.

Marist thrashed Lelean 28- 3 and Coach Koroi Matadigo said they had a lot more to achieve from here.

“I thank the boys for this game. We take the win but on Monday it’s back to the drawing board.

“It’s important not to underestimate any team. We haven’t won anything yet and we are looking forward to next week,” he said.

Matadigo acknowledged the competition from their opponents from Davuilevu and believes Marist have a lot more to work on for their next game.

“There are many things we are going to improve but hats off to the Davuilevu troops, he said.

Marist will take on RKS at Lawaqa Park next week.
