FNU To Welcome New Vice Chancellor Today
Fiji National University (FNU) will welcome their new appointed vice chancellor Professor Nigel Healey, today.
Professor Healey is excited about the role and the opportunity to help further develop Fiji National University.
He said earlier that he wanted FNU to become the university of first choice for students who were seeking successful careers, by putting a very strong emphasis in the curriculum on graduate employability and by working closely with business and employers in the way the university designed their taught programmes.
Professor Healey was head of the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom before joining FNU.
He is a citizen of New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
