General Machinery group financial controller says it is time for kindergarten tots to understand what they want to achieve in life.

Early childhood education is vital in moulding a child into becoming a reputable and respected individual in society, says General Machinery Group of Companies, financial controller, Rimal Mogam.

While officiating as the chief guest at the opening of the week-long Early Childhood Education celebration at the Gandhi Bhawan Kindergarten in Lautoka, Mr Mogam said for any individual it was important how they were brought up through their childhood.

“This is a phase of life where every person needs to be guided to understand what they want to achieve in life,” Mr Mogam said.

“Since a child spends a considerable amount of time of their life at school and with the teachers; early childhood education is very vital.”

Early Childhood Education teacher Safeena Khan said the kindergarten would  celebrate Early Education Week with the theme ‘investing in early childhood care and development for quality primary education’.
