The second Na Koro Market will be held tomorrow at the Fiji Museum in Suva to strengthen and continue the public’s interest in the country’s rich history and culture.

Following its successful launch last month, event organiser Peter Sipeli said this month’s market would be a family affair.

There will be  activities and exhibitions expected to culminate the event.

“The idea of the Na Koro Market is to host a market for the entire family,” Mr Sipeli said.

“The museum is open and we have various exhibitions on the deck of the museum, yoga on the park and many more,” he said.

“Suva is developing in such a way that they don’t realise how culturally and historically significant the Fiji Museum is.”

The event is organised in partnership with Fiji Museum, National Archives of Fiji, National Trust, The Suva City Council.

The market, which will be held on the first Sunday of every month, will also be marking Suva’s iconic Thurston Garden anniversary. This year marks the garden’s 103 years in existence. They event starts at 9am and ends at 3pm.
