Despite the loss to Great Britain in the quarter-finals this morning, Fijiana Head Coach Chris Cracknell is proud of the girls.

Cracknell tweeted: “Gutted. But proud.”

 

Litia Naiqato scored the lone try in the first half, with a conversion from Lavenia Tinai. Great Britain’s Abbie Brown and Joanne Watmore managed to run in tries, securing them a spot for medal contention. Great Britain takes on New Zealand while Canada takes on Australia in the semi-final.
