Fiji sevens rugby team 13th man, Masivesi Dakuwaqa is likely to be making his Olympic debut tomorrow.

Samisoni Viriviri sustained an ankle injury during Fiji’s second pool game against Argentina.

Head Coach Ben Ryan said Viriviri was one those players who played well in the first round and made two runs in their second game against Argentina.

“I just didn’t know what to say to Sami when I saw him hobbling off knowing his tournament is over after two touches, I just didn’t have anything to say to him, I felt so sorry for him,” Ryan said.

“Sami didn’t get too much game time but you saw the two runs he was blistering really firing and then Kiti Taliga came on and had a full game in rover and played well.

Ryan is still keeping his fingers cross if Viriviri could recover for today’s match.

“I’m worried about Sami he’s ankle didn’t look good, I’m hoping that he recovers tomorrow morning , when will say our prayers and see if he can get back onto the field tomorrow(today). He’s been playing really well, he’s on form.”
