Team Fiji judoka Josateki Naulu (pictured) was bundled out in the second of the elimination round of the Olympic Games competition in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil yesterday.
Naulu competed in the 81kg category in the elimination round 32 and was up against Shaxzod Sobinov of Uzbekistan.
Unfortunately, the opposition proved stronger resulting in Naulu bowing out after the first round.
A Team Fiji statement acknowledged Naulu’s coach, Takashi Iwasaki and training partner Shuzo Matsumoto for their support in accompanying him to Rio.
