Fiji Really A Golden Country: JC Patel
We hope that Fiji can always carry this forward, that we are really a golden country, says CJ Patel Group chairman JC Patel.
Mr Patel made these comments while celebrating the Olympic gold medal victory by our national men’s 7s team yesterday.
“We are really pleased with what the Fijian team has done. Fiji showed what they could do coming in with no single loss,” he said.
“We should all celebrate what the Fijian team has done.”
Mr Patel said the win was the biggest thing that has ever happened as it was the first sport where we have won Olympic gold.
“This is a huge and the best thing that has ever happened to Fiji and this is what everyone was looking out for,” he said.
“Everyone in Fiji is absolutely happy.”
CJ Patel Group senior management and staff also joined in the celebration with a cake dedicated to the victory at the head office in Wailekutu, Lami.
