Fijian, Finau Soqo, To Lead ANZ Kiribati

Finau Soqo, a Fijian has been appointed as ANZ Kiribati Country Head, replacing Rufus Pinto who has been in the role for the last three years.
Ms Soqo is the first woman to be appointed into this senior role for ANZ in Kiribati.
She returns to ANZ in the Pacific from her role as Senior Relationship Manager Financial Institutions Group based at ANZ in Manila, Philippines.
Before this, Ms Soqo had extensive experience in senior roles across ANZ.
This included Programme Director for an audit remediation standardisation project across ANZ’s Pacific countries, based in Melbourne, and Senior Manager Finance and Manager Strategy and Planning, both based in Suva.
Before joining ANZ, Ms Soqo was the Acting Chief Investment Officer and Board Secretary for Fijian Holdings Limited.
“I’m thrilled to be announcing the appointment of a Pacific national into a senior role on my Pacific Leadership Team and we’re looking forward to having Ms Soqo on board,” said ANZ Regional Executive Pacific, Tessa Price.
Ms Soqo will begin in her new role from August 29.
