Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed no was injured after a road accident occurred on Saturday night.
The incident happened at the Matanipusi Hill along the Queens Highway when a container truck and a private vehicle were travelling towards Sigatoka. It is alleged the private vehicle plunged underneath the container truck, after the truck had suddenly stopped along the highway because of an alleged faulty engine.
“The driver of the container truck is yet to be questioned,” Ms Naisoro said.
