During the opening of the ninth Fiji National Cub Camboree at Drasa Education Institute in Lautoka,  the President said: “The members of our 7s rugby team were once young boys like you who aspired and dreamed of being successful in life through their individual and collective hard work, their perseverance and sacrifice.

“Our 7s Rugby Olympic medal have proven to our beloved nation and particularly to you young boys who are members of the club movement that there is no substitute to hard work as the key to success and this is the chance I want to leave with you our cubs and youth of Fiji if you remain focused and persevere in what you want to achieve in life nothing becomes impossible.”

He told the audience they were Fiji’s future and they could continue to demonstrate it to the world that Fiji could be as good as any other country.
