The Crime Stoppers Unit of the Fiji Police force reached another milestone yesterday.

It signed a memorandum of understanding between the Fiji Police Force, Mai TV and Crime Stoppers.

In generating awareness and educating the society on crime prevention the Mai TV general manager Anilesh Reddy stated that Mai TV would assist the Fiji Police and Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers board member Dewan Maharaj stated that Crime Stoppers Fiji was grateful to all the media outlets in coming on board and assisting the Fiji Police.

The Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho thanked Mai TV for coming on board in assisting the Fiji Police and complementing the good work by the Crime Stoppers board.

Mai TV will allocate a ten minute segment to Crime Stoppers every Sunday at 6:50pm before the news at seven.
