Versatile Malolo tight-head prop Nemani Camainakelo believes it will be a David vs Goliath battle when they take on BLK Nadroga in the HFC Bank Farebrother Challenge at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Saturday.

But the Nakelo, Tailevu native, who have has been part of the Malolo side for the last two years, is optimistic of a good performance.

He has also been part of the Nadroga rugby programme for the last five years.

“Last year was my first year with Malolo side and this will be my second Farebrother to play against Nadroga,” he said.

“It was tough the last time we met in the Skipper Cup as they have more experienced players.

“We will give them a good and 80 minutes of rugby.”

Camainakelo will team up with former Ratu Sukuna Memorial School rep Peni Ralagi who plays at first- five eight.

The duo were instrumental in  RSMS reaching the Deans final in 2003.

They also made the Fiji Schoolboys team which toured New Zealand that year.

Nasiga expects tough Malolo

BLK Nadroga captain Rupeni Nasiga believes playing against Malolo will be tough at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this Saturday.

Nadroga defends the HFC Bank Farebrother 2016 in the second challenge after disposing Suva 32-9 last week.

“We made a lot of mistakes against Suva  and we need to improve and step  up this week,”Nasiga said.

“Both sides are from the same province and it will be surely tough as expected.”

The BLK Nadroga- Malolo match kicks off at 1pm.
