The Lautoka Football Association will be sponsored by Singh’s Rentals driving the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants scheduled for Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori next week.

Singh’s Rental proprietor Ruban Bhan Singh presented the cheque yesterday.

Singh’s Rentals also sponsors the Lautoka local league.

Singh, former vice-president and manager for the Blues, said the side will enter the B.O.G feeling more comfortable knowing they have one of their own businesses backing them.

Lautoka FA president Abdul Kadar was grateful with the sponsorship from Singh’s Rentals.

“I want to thank Singh and his family for contributing financially towards the team,” Kadar said.

He said the sugar city side had been preparing well for the B.O.G.

“We have not won this tournament for the past 35 years and we are all trying our best to bring glory back to Lautoka,” he said.

He could not reveal the amount of the sponsorship only that it would cost around $20,000 to take the side to Nausori for the tournament.
