Rewa and Cakaudrove have qualified for the semifinals of the Vodafone Rugby Trophy next week.

Rewa defeated Cakaudrove 15-9 at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, yesterday and Coach Alifereti Doviverata was happy with the outcome.

“We will take the win but I’m disappointed with some aspects of our game especially losing possessions in contact situations,”he said.

“I think that is one area of concern for us and we need to work on that on Monday but otherwise, the boys have really improved.

“I am happy with what we have achieved so we are slowly getting there.

“But as usual, while the boys done a good job so far, there is still a lot that we need to improve on and we need to improve on that next week.”

Serua, who needed a win to qualify, lost to Northern Bulls 18-17.

The other semifinalists are Navosa and Nanukuloa.
