Vodafone Hibiscus stall owners operating near the ANZ Stadium at Laucala Bay, Suva, will stay open for business on Monday.

“This is to cater for the public who will be coming down for the much anticipated Team Fiji 7s rugby gold medal celebration at the ANZ Stadium,” said Vodafone Hibiscus committee spokesperson, Liga Gukisuva.

“Only the stalls near the Vodafone arena will be taken down at the end of the festival today (Saturday), as the area will be used for parking on Monday,” said Mr Gukisuva.

“Vodafone Hibiscus festival officially ends today (Saturday), only the stalls near the ANZ Stadium will be operating on Monday,” he said.

Attempts to get comments from the Hibiscus Events Group (HEG) by phone regarding stall owners paying an extra fee to stay open on Monday were not answered.
