A stall owner said she was happy with business yesterday.

Kaila Keba Chowmein stall owner, Lily Dominico, 47, says she was happy with the turnout of Olympic Gold celebrations.

She said throughout the Vodafone Hibiscus Festival week, bad weather affected their sales.

But yesterday’s celebrations at the ANZ National Stadium made her day better.

“Today was the best day out of all the days we have been here at the stadium car park during Hibiscus,” Ms Dominico said.

“I have different varieties of food as well as donuts and pie, and this is the time when families come to witness the historic moment and enjoy the food.

“I think today’s sales has helped me recover the money I had lost due to bad weather conditions,” Ms Dominico said.

Ms Dominico and her son Christopher Dominico, 22, a University of the South Pacific student, enjoyed the celebrations too.
