Technological evolution it is indeed. For the first time, the CPA Congress delegates will be able to get all information about the event on their smart devices.

This will be through a CPA Events App which has been developed for the 2016 CPA Congress which gets underway at the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort on Yanuca Island today.

The app can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store for Apple users or Google’s Play Store for Android users.

CPA Fiji Branch President, Shaneel Nandan, said they will also send notifications with any changes or updates that delegates need to know about through the app.

Delegates can build their own personalised programme by clicking the ‘Attending’ box in any sessions they want to go to. These will then be visible in ‘My Programme’

By clicking on individual sessions delegates can see more information including speaker profiles and any attached presenter papers.

Delegates can evaluate the sessions they attend by clicking on ‘Evaluate this session’ for each individual session.
