Eight people who were arrested following a drug raid in Lautoka are likely to appear in court today.
The home of one of those arrested, a self employed man, was raided by a team of Police officers early Tuesday morning in Tavakubu Road in Lautoka.
The team raided the home at around 6am. A large quantity of dried leaves believed to be marijuana, cash, and other items believed to have been stolen were seized.
The homeowner, as well as seven other men and a woman who were at the home during the time of the raid were arrested and are currently in custody as investigations continue.
