Rugby Star Brings Joy To Orphans

Team Fiji men’s rugby sevens forward Semi Kunatani is dubbed the Beast for his aggressive play and tenacious tackles.

He is one of the most feared players in the World Sevens Series and played a crucial role in the country’s first ever Olympic Games gold medal win at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil last month.

Yesterday, the France-based player showed his soft side when he paid a surprise visit to the Dilkusha Home in Davuilevu, Nausori and donated $1000 to the orphanage.

Home superintendent Deaconess Leba Laveti said they were blessed to have Kunatani with them.

“We are grateful to Kunatani for his love and thoughtfulness towards the children.

“Thank you for remembering us.

“The Dilkusha family wants to wish him good luck in his rugby career and pray that God will richly bless him,” she added.
