Likuliku crowned best Fijian Property, Again

Only nine years into operations and Likuliku Lagoon Resort has won the Best Fijian Property in the 2016 Hotel Management Awards for the fifth overall time and second consecutive time.
Owner and managing director, Tony Whitton, said: “This is big news once again for our team.
“We have Fijian resort experiences that are being counted amongst some of the best in the world, holding their own with other famous hotel and resort brands – some of which are giants in the industry.
“Being only nine years old, we believe we have firmly established that we have filled a niche in Fiji on all things Fijian.
“This is from traditional Fijian architecture to service delivery and with a unique product offering of Fiji’s first and only over-water bures.
“We thank the HM Awards and the travel industry at large for this acknowledgement.”
Recognition
Since its opening in 2007, the 100% Fijian family-owned resort has been consistently recognised for its luxury over-water and island beach accommodations.
Its leading edge cuisine and unparalled service delivery has provided guests from around the world a truly unique Fijian experience.
Group general manager, Steve Anstey, said: “This is the fifth time in the nearly 10 years we have been open that we have won this prestigious award.
“We continue to be humbled and amazed to be honoured and recognised by the industry in this way.
“It is a wonderful achievement and it is a testament to the quality of the product that we continue to aspire to achieve.
“Thank you to our incredible staff and of course, to all our valued guests for their continued amazing support.”
