The Vodafone Tebara Carnival is a platform to disseminate information and create awareness to curtail the dangers of Non Communicable Diseaese’s.

Chief guest at the youth and Queens sarong judging night, Provincial Administrator of Rewa Kelepi Kubunameca made these comments at Syria Park, Nausori on Monday.

The youth night theme was ‘Our Children Our Future’.

Mr Kubunameca emphasised on the fight against lifestyle and non-communicable diseases.

The contestants were all decked out in their sarong attires and spoke on their advocacy themes such as climate change, mental health, and youth empowerment.

The winner for the sarong title will be announced on Friday.

The 2016 Vodafone Tebara Carnival has been staged the second year now after a lapse of 12 years.
