Minister for Education Mahendra Reddy is urging corporate organisations to help in the reconstruction of schools devastated by Tropical Cyclone Winston.
Mr Reddy said they could join the Adopt a School Programme.
“We have successful cases like the Navesau Adventist School which was constructed by Kartika Construction,” he said.
He welcomed Fiji Ports Terminal Limited’s offer to repair Vashist Muni Memorial Primary School,” he said.
Under the Government’s Adopt a School Programme, the Fiji Ports Terminal had selected Vashisht Muni Memorial Primary School in Tagitagi, Tavua.
The school suffered damages costing $117,000.
