Stop Order For Sangam Execs

Businessman Damend Gounder president of Then India Sanmarga Ikya (TISI) Sangam and six other Sangam office bearers have been ordered not to act as national executives.
The order was made by judge, Justice Kamal Kumar at the High Court in Suva, civil jurisdiction yesterday.
Sangam’s life members Govind Sami Padyachi and Narsa Reddy had sought this order as drama continues as to who can rightly be appointed as national executive.
The order said: “The defendants by themselves or by their servants agents or otherwise howsoever be restrained from acting as the National Executives of the Then India Sanmarga Ikya Sangam including calling any meetings of the Then India Sanmarga Ikya Sangam or council of management meetings or any meetings and from dealing with financial and administrative affairs of the Then India Sanmarga Ikya Sangam whatsoever until further order of the Court.”
Mr Gounder and others are to file and serve affidavit in opposition by September 16.
Others named in the order are: Kumar Sami Gounder, Som Padayachi, Sailendra Kumar, Pradishwaran Gounder, Vijay Narayan and Muni Kamlesh Naidu.
