ANZ Fiji Reduces ATM Fees For Non-Customers

Non ANZ customers using ANZ Fiji ATMs will now pay less for their cash withdrawals and balance enquiries.
ANZ Fiji has reduced cash withdrawals fees from $1.50 to $0.50 and balance enquiries fees from $0.60 to $0.20.
ANZ Acting chief executive Fiji, Saud Minam, said the initiative is intended to make digital banking more accessible and affordable for the general public.
“We acknowledge that in order to support meaningful financial inclusion, we need to make it much easier and more affordable for everyone to access their money while also encouraging savings,” Mr Minam said.
Mr Minam stressed that building a savings culture in Fiji would benefit everyone in the long-term, including businesses and communities.
“Building financial literacy remains our priority here in Fiji, and indeed across the Pacific,” he said.
“We strongly believe this is an important means of building economic resilience in the communities in which we operate, including through this initiative, and also the delivery of our flagship financial literacy program, MoneyMinded.”
“There’s no one solution to building financial literacy in any market and ANZ takes an holistic approach here in Fiji, which we believe is the only way to shift the dial.”
Mr Minam has given ANZ’s commitment to continue to look at ways of enhancing customers’ digital banking experiences.
These are such as through the recent launch of their Visa Debit Card, access to ANZ Internet Banking for Vodafone customers without incurring data costs, and the acceptance of UnionPay cards on ANZ’s ATM network.
