From a very young age, 17-year-old Yashnil Singh has developed a passion for sports cars and motor sports.

It’s therefore natural his hobby includes Motor Sports. And now after getting his drivers license, Mr Singh is ready to take on competition at the tracks with his Toyota Starlet GT Turbo.

His vehicle has a sunroof and has a rare TOM’S spec spoiler.

In terms of upgrades, Mr Singh has not done much modifications on his vehicle however, he has installed a boost controller and a boost gauge.

“Boost gauge helps me in reading how much boost is the car running and boost controller locks the boost to the amount I want to set on,” he said.

While the parts for his upgrades aren’t available locally, Mr Singh has so far spent $1000 in the modifications and which took him three months.

Mr Singh recently got his drivers license and has done maximum speed of 130 km/h during test run at the Fiji Car Club-organised drags.

In future, he hopes to race with a Stock 5EFTE Motor.
