Striker Mohammed Shazil Ali scored a hat-trick in Lautoka’s 3-2 victory over Rewa in the Vodafone Premier League at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.
It was also an early birthday present for the Tappoo employee who will be celebrating his achievement on October 13 with his family and teamates at the Sugar City.
“I did not expect to score three goals but was prepared to score a goal against Rewa which has been my objective for the Blues,” he said.
Ali made his debut for the Blues last year in the 2-0 drubbing over Rewa during the Vodafone Premier League at Ratu Cakobau Park as well. He scored the very two goals as well.
In other results : Nadi beat Labasa 2-1, Ba defeated Dreketi 3-0.
